Description

The best just gets better! The X-Stream Pro represents 2 years of development intended to enhance your prospecting experience. Like our original X-stream, this model is designed to work creeks and streams or totally submersible with the ability to replace the valve gasket in the field. The new valve is designed to eliminate clogging and spitting (forward flow) while still using our tried and true leather cups.
Included with you Gold-N-Sand pump is: 6 foot hose, 2 gallon “Quick View” bucket and twist off “Gamma Lid”, Three specialty nozzles with extension and instructions.
Three nozzles are included with the Gold-N-Sand pump:
Sniper Nozzle with “Rock Block” reaches into cracks and crevices
Bulk Sand Nozzle Designed to quickly draw sand and 1/2in material
Classifier Nozzle filters sticks and leaves and gets just the sand #8 and smaller
8 inch extension is included giving you even more reach!
Leather swells when wet to make a smooth and perfect seal, it’s also self lubricating and healing. Nothing man made compares.
The X-Stream Pro works equally well in creeks and streams or totally submersible. However, while diving conditions change dramatically; floating around instead of standing means the exit valve is hardly ever in the perfect position which is 12-O’clock. The remedy for this situation is to make the valve adjustable. On your back, side, standing up or upside down, the pump can now work properly. Every exit valve has a white dot where the
12-O’clock position is. Simply keep this dot pointing up at all times.
Gold-N-Sand valves are designed to allow maximum material movement and minimize clogs. The gaskets inside of every PRO valve is replaceable making on site repairs a breeze.

1 review for Gold-n-Sand – Extreme Pro Hand Dredge

  1. Patrick Peake (verified owner)

II am a hobbyist prospector and did not need to spring the money out on a $1,000 dredge that really isn’t worth it here in the midlands of SC.

    Bad news first:

    1. The hose comes out of your bucket if you pump too hard for too long.

    2. The nozzles get jammed quickly, especially the sniper nozzle.

    3. The video shows a tether on the user. That needs to be standard since the hose comes out.

    4. Needs a second handle for your other hand.

    The good news:

    1. Excellent portable dredge that lets you work an area without having to dump gravel every pump like the cheap dredges.

    2. The sniper nozzle gets into crevices like an over-eager proctologist.

    3. Great PT, hooah. (exercise).

    4. Can pump submerged for those deeper holes.

    5. The bucket has a screw-on lid.

The only real reason this dredge isn’t a 5-star is because of that hose that comes out of the bucket when you pump too hard for too long.
